Whne I dial 0500 41 41 41 I get a message telling me that 'The number that you dialled does not exist'. Try telling that to Screwfix Direct!!
Would someone please try this for me and see if it works for you.
Thanks
Dave
The prefix 0500 is a freephone number and I'm not sure it can be dialled using the second line. Perhaps you should dial it from your normal landline.
Additionally normal phone numbers are 11 digits long but there are some 10 digit numbers. Up until 1 June 2006 you needed to add an asterix ( * ) after the number to show that you've finished dialling: e.g. 01234 56789* - as far as I'm aware this no longer applies, and you can now dial these in the same way as other numbers. It may be worth a try adding the asterix though.

I know that 0500 numbers are free but Orange helpdesk(?) say there should not be a problem and they also say that they are looking into it!!!! (We have exchanged 72 emails in respect of this!!!)
They also say that I need to power cycle the LiveBox which I have done several times. The number does connect from my normal Landline.
Can someone with a LiveBox try the number please?
Dave
