I seem to have been capped permenently by Orange, I recently recieved a letter from them informing me that after 4/5 months of them capping me due to downloading too much, that they had been monitoring my usage and my connection would now be restored to it's full capacity in 5 days.
The connection went up for about a week, and I was able to acheive download speeds of just under 1mb/s, however it seems I have now been capped again and I cannot acheieve download speeds of over 50/60kb/s, convienently this is 24/7! In addition to this I am now experiencing frequent connection drops, none of this I had last year when I first joined
I think my contract is due to finish in sept but I really want to get rid of these jokers before then, is there anyway I can get out of the contract and get my MAC code? and Is it true that they are breaching their own T's & C's anyway by capping me 24/7?!!
As I type now my download speed has gone down to about 30 kb/s!!
Is there a good chance they would try to take me to court if I decided not to pay up, I read something else on here about them threatening legal action over £8 someone owed them
