I just did a system restore of my computer Previously the speed was normal after the restore it feels really sluggish.

I have the "upto 8mb connection"

On world of warcraft the latency usally was 60-100ms now its at 300-400 ms

Is there any reason why its acting so slow and any way to make it better? Sad

I Run adaware daily, defragment daily ,run avg anti virus daily , avg and adaware both come back with no threats found, I use windows firewall and i have allowed WOW through that and turning it off makes no difference.

I use the dns thingy 208.67.220.220 / 208 . 67 222 . 222

Any other information i need to post just say it Razz

it seems to me the only way is to leave Orange. today, my new broadband with o2 (now Sky) went active. yesterday I had my usual 1 - 1.8Mb speed. Never has it gone above that. And now I am at 4.5Mb today. Easy as that. Hurrah for me!
