Hiya, everyone, from Southport. I'm your newest newby and this is my first post.
I've been with Orange since the days of Freeserve and Wanadoo - some 5 years? I've two points to make here:-
1. I recently upped from 2MB to 8MB for no extra change. However it has gradually and inexplicably reduced and it is now down to 5.184MB - which is better than a kick in the pants because until yesterday it wan't working at all for a few weeks and I had to resort to using one of my backup V90 connections (downloads 35/56 kb/s uploads 14/34 kb/s - Gosh! It was hard work)
2. I'm still using the green SpeedTouch modem Freeserve supplied at a cost of about £60 although I've found more up-to-date installation programmes off the Internet. I asked Wanadoo for a newer CD but they wouldn't supply one, no doubt Orange would be no more helpful. PS - If you can't get hold of new software let me know and if there's enough demand I'll put it on my website for downloading.
