can anyone explain why I cant connect to Orange....I have had Three conversations with Orange techies, the last of whom put the phone down on me...I wasnt irate or rude!!! My computer cannot find the ip address even tho it recognises the livebox.I want to stop my account as I have connected to my neighbours internet with his permission (via his skybox) and have received insufficient help from Orange.Why can another laptop in my house connect to Orange when I cant but at the same time i can connect to my neighbours wireless? aaaaggghhhh!!!!

UNABLE TO CONNECT WITH WIRELESS:
Are you pressing Button 1 on Livebox to put it into pairing mode?
Press Button 1 on Livebox so the wifi light flashes. This puts livebox into pairing mode and you have 10 minutes to try and connect your wireless device . This only needs to be done once and then you should be able to connect every time .
I had to change security on Livebox to WEP only.
WEP key is case sensitive.
If security is an issue WPA is more secure, try WPA only.
You could also try Changing the channel. One recommended to try is channel 9. Try this first if you can not see the Livebox at all.
Another issue is if there are 2 programmes on the computer that you are trying to connect trying to control the wireless. Turn off the programme that came with the wireless card and use XP to control the connection.
