Four weeks (two of which were wasted talking to numpties) before being passed on to the "Escalations department" after asking for my MAC code - I've now had five calls from the "Escalations department" + a BT engineer visit to my home to test my line and endless days of aggravation whilst working at a download speed of 63kbs!
To discover BT has throttled my connection speed to 63kbs by request from Orange's customer service department!!!
No one knows why it happened or why its taken them 20 odd days to discover something I suggested was happening from the start - An absolute disgrace in my opinion and if not for contractual ties I would change ISPs tomorrow!!!
Not good is it? I wonder if it's not just Orange who have these problems and maybe changing isn't such a good idea, but I don't really think things can get any worse can they?

Shame they fixed it - you could have exited your contract early had that carried on due to the service not being fit for purpose
