I’ve been using the Livebox now for over a year. At first it was fine, Recently though its becoming more of a pain. Its based downstairs connected to the PC with an Ethernet cable and connected wirelessly to my newish Vista laptop which moves about the house but mostly stays at my desk upstairs. Wired connections to both the laptop and PC are fine. Wireless is the problem.
Wireless drops signal every 5 or so minutes , download speeds are painfully slow, It seems like it’s constantly “limited access” or just “local access” even when the laptop is right next to the live box.
Ive tried updating my Broadcom adapter firmware, no luck there. Tried changing the channels on the livebox, nope. Tried turning off the new easy-pairing, resetting it, holding down the pairing button.
I've had similar problems with a wireless connection to two pcs and a laptop constantly dropping off and slower than dial-up. Got really fed up after changing channels etc with no luck. Eventually went back to the old customer service standard reply and did a full factory reset and hey-presto, I've been back on for an hour with normal speeds resumed!
