I dont know what has happened , I have just turned on and cant connect to my internet.
I am running xp pro and my isp is Orange with speed touch modem..

I have reinstalled a couple of times with no luck and phoned up there help line to be told I am connected but my pc does not recognise the modem, and my network drivers are missing and I need to reinstall them.......

I have been into my connections folder and all that is there normal connection icon not my lan Orange icon....

I have put in my Xp disk and tried to repair with the "chkdsk /r" code still with no luck.............

So please can anyone help or advise me.......Cheers...Tom

no sorry should have been more explicit reinstalled my Orange connection via supplied cd...........any help..cheers

You run the install from the CD without the modem connected.

You then you connect the modem to a USB and allow XP to detect it and install the drivers.
