My wireless broadband will not allow me to open a web page. I use firefox. The connection seems to be excellent, but for some reason I cannot open a web page. I recently started using a wireless Vodafone modem for when I’m on the train. Could this have messed with my lap top settings for my Orange livebox? Can anyone help? I am registering a connection with the livebox but could it be the browser settings?

Try this.. With a wireless connection.. Go to Start> Run> type " cmd " and then type " ping www.google.com " just copy paste it.. Paste back the results.. Should look like this

hi there the above is what i'm getting- can you please help?
If the loopback test fails, the IP stack is not responding. This problem may occur if any one or more of the following conditions is true:
• The TCP drivers are corrupted.
• The network adapter is not working.
• Another service is interfering with IP.
Do the same again.. But try to ping the Livebox IP address..
This is 192.168.1.1
This has been said to work before.. But i'm not sure if it will in your case
Try updating all of your wireless drivers. If this doesn't work.. Remove the Vodafone stuff for now and see if that was the issue.. What sticks out to me is the Flora.wan as this doesn't look right.. Well not to me.. Check your Laptop starts from Hard Drive and not any of the others by opening the boot setup on starting your laptop. The top one will be what it starts from..
