I was recently looking at the properties for my internet connections and noticed that the option to have the icon with the two little screens in the info tray for the internet gateway wasn't on, I switched it on and then checked the speed on that and it's saying 8.1mb, when I do a speed test on www.thinkbroadband.com I always get between 3.5 and 4.0mb, I just did a test on www.speedtest.net and I get 16360kbps down and 241kbps up!!!
What's going on?
Does that reading of 8.1 mb mean nothing?
Does it just tell me what my connection is set to by borange?
Sometimes the gateway connection doesn't come on at all, today I turned my livebox off for an hour then put it back on and the gateway connection came back.
