We have been with Orange since it was Freeserve, back in the good old days! On 2nd July we lost our Broadband connection for 7 days. After £7.00 worth of phone calls to Orange technical support the problem was put down to a fault with the red ethernet connection port on the Livebox. For another week the whole thing worked perfectly, then we started having problems no connection, interrupted connection, 30kbps connection speed (we can access 2.5mb) etc. We spent another 3 weeks contacting Orange support who were absolutely useless, we have had approximately 14 line tests and engineers have been out to check the line - where apparently there is nothing wrong, it must be a filter problem, computer problem - not their problem!!
We bailed out and have moved to Waitrose - new Router, and guess what as soon as we insatlled it we accessed 2.5mb broadband and are always connected at the speed. Orange are S**t! and if they continue in this way then hopefully their service will not exist much longer.
