i can access bbcnews sites, facebook, this one etc.... but my own site, www.dwsitech.com / www.inhalersforfree.co.uk just draw a 404 error, yet i can access them on my mobile and on the 3g usb browser.
Both of those sites work fine for me, so I don't think Orange are to blame. I know, I'm as suprised as you are. Are you sure you don't have any software that could be blocking it, firewall or something?

Hello lundave
The sites are available to me - I took a look and noticed that the http://www.inhalersforfree.co.uk/ website has only just been registered - 28-03-2008... After registering a domain name and setting it up on a web server, it needs to be mapped to numerical addresses (IP addresses) before it can be found. The mapping process, which is controlled by a network of Domain Name Servers (known as DNS servers) around the world unfortunately cannot be updated instantaneously.
It relies on a process called "propagation" under which the correct mapping is relayed from one DNS server to another around the world, and it can take many hours (usually up to 48 hours) to completely refresh all the DNS servers in the world. To add to the problem, individual computers store their DNS records for a time and this can result in a further delay for end users.
In your case, I would just wait a little longer - it's not really an OrangeProblem as such... Their servers will probably get around to recognising your domain names in the next day or so!
Also.. As far as the other site is concerned - have you recently changed the nameservers? If so, this will be the same reason for you not being able to view the website - you will have to wait for the DNS servers to update.

I seem to be having a similiar problem connecting to my university's webservers (http://www.northampton.ac.uk), but only via Orange, through my friends and relatives ISP's (BT, PlusNet, tiscali dial up) it works fine!! Any ideas?? The techies at the Uni have checked their end(eg DNS, etc) and can see no problems!!!! Is there any setting on my PC that could be causing this that any one can think of??? Any help or pointers gratefully recieved.
I have an identical problem with www.tribalwars.net . Up till last thursday it was no problem at all then all of a sudden it couldn't find the page any more! checked on my wifes laptop which connects through the livebox wireless connection and she could not access it either.
I then changed everything:
DNS
IP
reset Livebox
firewall
Network card
Funnily enough, a collegue at work has had the exact same problem! He is also with Orange and can't access tribal wars website from home. The only way to get there is to go through a proxy service like slaphappy or hide my ass...
