Hi hoping for advice please,
Since Jan 08 we have been unable to use of second phone through the livebox. We were with Orange broadband and no problems in Jan Orange took over our line from BT, Customer care keeps telling us that there is no problem I can not get them to understand that there is. The light is lit on the livebox but if you lift the phone to make a call there is nothing. If I call the phone the light flashes but the phone does not ring.
According to Orange there is no problem please help I am banging my head against a brick wall

Have you tried a different phone with the Livebox? Since it sounds as though you were using the service successfully until January I doubt that this is the problem, but it may nonetheless be worth checking, since it's probably easy to do. Certainly not all phones will work with the second line service - one of mine will make calls but not receive them, for instance.
The phones are the same when it was working, I have swapped them over to try and the same problem happens. I get an echo of the tv I dont have Sky so there is no line there. So annoying as my bill was up £20 as I couldnt use the free calls through the livebox. The only other issue is we had a couple of short power cuts dont know if that has anything to do with it.
Just wish customer support would accept that I have a problem. I have emailed them again as I am frustrated at trying to explain hopefully they will respond
Have exactly the same problem as you have been banging my head of a brick wall for Three months and getting nowhere with them,have been advised to contact the ISPA which I have just done,see if they will move them
