I wonder if any Orange broadband costumer has tried to register to the well advertised service "orange wednesdays".
Orange wednesdays allows you to buy two tickets for the price of one. Orange mobile and broadband costumers qualify for this service. But it requires registration.
I used my mobile (from o2 (now Sky)) to register and sent a few sms to the number given 80241. I received no confirmation of the registration and I was charged for sending this sms, which was supposed to be free according to the terms and conditions, point 23: http://www1.orange.co.uk/enter.../terms.php
I called the customer service, and I had to repeat several times what happened and I was left with the promise that I would receive a some information by sms in 48 hours. It has been already a week and I received nothing. I also sent a message through the online customer service but no response yet after 4 days.
I feel like this "orange wednesdays" service is deliberately not working so that customers are charged through with their attempts to register.
