I have a Livebox Reuter which i have surfed the internet with months until i had recently bought a PS3 where i changed my livebox settings.
It has also said that the saved livebox security settings saved on to the laptop are different to what have previously been entered.
Help???
The PS3 is now playing online but i can only connect to the internet via the red ethernet cable.
I have removed the wireless network as it kept saying the security details i enter are incorrect even though i was pasteing the WEP key.
I have now tried searching for wireless connections and it is detecting the livebox. I try to connect and it asks for the security key. I put the WEP key in correctly everytime and within a second it states can not connect.
I can still connect on a wired connection but not wireless.
Get into the network and sharing centre,
Go into manage wireless networks,
Remove any listings for your livebox,
Go to start and then connect to,
Try and reconnect to your livebox,
Renter the key as on the stick or better yet copy it from the pages over the ethernet connection,
Remember it's 0-9, A-F, no spaces, capitals only,
Before clicking connect on the key page press the livebox 1 button,
Click connect and it should go through.
