When I turned on my computer this morning I noted that my download speed was atrocious - my router is currently reporting it as around 200kbps, whereas it's normally in the region of 2000-2500 (it's actually ostensibly a 3MB connection). My upload has remained the same at around 300. I cannot get the BT speedtest thing to complete, it keeps throwing out errors, but I will keep trying.

Just did a speedtest which was giving me around 120kbps down and 200 up.
Have tried replugging connections, rebooting router etc. No luck.
