advice needed please, I have just bought a new laptop with MS Vista o/s. I am trying to connect to the internet wireless via livebox. I get a box coming up asking "Connect to a Network" of which I click on "Wanadoo",then I am am asked to Insert the Security Key or Passphrase. What is the Security Key or Passphrase ?, I tried putting the wep key number in thinking that was the Security Key to no avail. I have another laptop connected by wireless to the livebox but cannot remember having to insert a Security Key or Passphrase but I could be wrong.
Yes it's the WEP key. Make sure you're entering it as capitals only, no spaces, using only A-F and 0-9. After entering press the 1 button on the livebox before ok'ing the code and it should then connect fine.
