Hello.
I recently bought a laptop and was thinking that i could change to have a wireless internet connection at home instead of the cable connection i'm currently using.
I've been with Orange/Wanadoo/Freeserve for many years and i am still using the old "Broadband at £17.99 1Meg speed 2GB cap".
I was browsing around the Orange site today to find that i could have an upgrade to Orange Home Starter for £6 for the first 6 months and £12 after that for 18months contract.....
Now this in comparision to my current package, it's too good to be true. It's cheaper, i get more usage allowance and it's wireless (so does it mean i could surf on my laptop at the same time as my borther could surf on the desktop pc??). Basically, i get more for less!
But as everything sounded perfect, there must be a catch in this? Could somebody please tell me if it is wise to swap packages, or i'm better off with the old/different package?
I'm not certain the 1/2 price for 6 months applies to existing customers, you'd be best off to check to be certain. Though if not then you could always ring to cancel to get the same or better offer.
