I move around quite a lot and use various ISPs. Previously I used utorrent OK with an Orange livebox but now I am not connecting to seeds or peers (although I can see a count of how many there are), My utorrent works OK with other ISPs and routers. Do I need to change a setting on the livebox or have Orange started to block P2P traffic? Any suggestions?

Not yet, but p2p traffic shaping is already being used by aol and BT. Luckily the next release of utorrent, and azureus et al, will include a type of full torrent encryption, rather than just header encryption, which can be switched on in the options tab. Read the proposal at bittorrent.org
