Since I've had our speed increased to 7.5 meg, my connection seems to drop 5 or 6 times a day. Its only for a matter of seconds, in which the Livebox will re-connect. Its not a real problem for web browsing but downloading and online gaming are affected drastically. Our connection has been rock-solid up until this most recent speed upgrade. Its not a problem with the Livebox as I have switched to my speedtouch and the same happens.
I think the longest I have seen the Livebox stat page 'Your Current Broadband connection has been established for' statistic has been 19 hours. Normally it only last a few hours before dropping/re-connecting.
When it happens, the @ light on the Livebox starts flashing.
Is this a common problem? Its bloody annoying. My upload is 288 so I must be LLU.
Any advice on this would be grateful, is it worth phoning OCS about this, or just a waste of time/money?
I was having the same problem and unable to get it resolved but on returning from holiday last week I found I now have ADSL2+ and the connection is stable.... Also llu upload speed gone from 288 to .6m

Hi there. Had you previously complained about the problem or did it just magically get fixed?
I had been complaining about it for months and decided that the only way to fix my problem was to change providers.
Surprisingly just as i'm going to do it it gets fixed by an upgrade at the exchange.
