I was showing as 8.1 Mbps yesterday on my connection. I did some tests and it wasnt anywhere near that more like 3.2 so i emailed Orange and today i log on to find im now showing 7.9mbps. what the?
There is no facility to vary a connection's sync speed to such a small degree, that and general tech support have no way to alter the speed directly. You'll be on a rate adaptive connection, it will connect as best it can depending on the line conditions at the time.
