Is anyone else suffering from this intermittent problem on the 1mb service, it first started on the 16th July and then disappeared again until this Saturday since when it's been present about 80% of the time.
When I try to connect I get periods where I constantly get the "0691 : Access denied because the user name and/or password was invalid in the domain", the speedtouch 330 has two constant green lights all the time.
I managed to get connected for about 1 hour round 9pm tonight, but the connection was dropped since which I've constantly got the error. I'm now using my old dial-up Anytime account which is still active 6 weeks after I upgraded to the 1mb service!
The password is saved in the connection application so it's not down to a typing error, it almost seems as if my account is being deactivated for varying periods of time.

According to posts on here by Orange staff, there seems to be an issue with this at the moment.
This sounds a bit like my error too (see post on LCP/authentication); I'm beginning to wonder if this is all due to over subscribed authentication systems...

I had the same issue all weekend. See this thread here.
The explanation I got was that it has been a problem with servers at Oranges end. I got a connection last night on my 1 meg and it stayed on all evening, no problems.
The support line was very busy, it took about 20 minutes to get out through and as I mentioned in the other thread, my connection started working just as I started talking to the support chap. He was good enough to explain what was going on.
