Actually got a nice letter from CS yesterday confirming our conversation on Thursday. No pouch yet though.
I've been a customer of Orange since 1995. Unfortunately when I moved to my current house at the end of 2006 they had the worst GSM coverage and I couldn't get a signal in the house so I had to move. But I did sign up with Orange Broadband as it was a good deal at the time especially with the free calls.
But now o2 (now Sky) broadband has just started on my exchange I am getting 10Meg throughput for £5 less a month, so it was a no-brainer to move.
I hope Orange CS close down the billing & send out the pouch efficiently - if they do then I would certainly consider rejoining Orange sometime in the future (that is, if they can stay competitive). The next month shall tell.....
