I have been trying to solve my ever impossible port forwarding problem since October 2007 (Yes a very long time). I have given Orange phone calls and get the same old stuff "Sorry, we do not support certain features on our own router". Well who do i turn to now? No one. I'm on my own, thanks Orange.
I have the following ports open in my Livebox:
TCP: 51234, TCP: 14534 and UDP: 8767, these are the ports required to run "Teamspeak 2: Server".
From the picture below you wil see me having a look to check if they are open:
Oh dear, they aren't. I have tried this on 2 Livebox's that i have (one being an acidental replacement). Both of them with the same problem, has anyone actually managed to port forward on a Livebox at all and got Teamspeak to work as a server?
Things i have done:
- Changed my IP for my PC to a static IP address (It works).
- Changed the static IP address and port IP ranges from 192.168.1.136-140.
- Tried a different computer on the network.
- I have and can connect to my own TS server from my PC and my Bro's so it isn't a firewall issue or my PC, it is deffinately the Livebox blocking it.
- I have rung Orange but the script they read from obviously doesn't have Port forwarding.
- Have tried to read help topics about it on the net but no luck.
- Been recieving help on Teamspeak forums but no joy.
I just checked out that site and the tutorial for the Livebox on Teamspeak 2 is exactly what i did so it doesn't solve the problem. It has the ports in the table so i can't see whats blocking the actual entry of data.
Thanks for your help thus far, any other ideas would be much appreciated as im reaching the point on just phoning their support line just to yell at them.
EDIT: I know in the top screenie that the internal IP for the ports are different to my PC IP, that screenie was taken after i temperarily changed my internal IP.
