Please could somebody help, as I have no idea why I am having problems getting my emails in my Orange.net webmail Inbox.
Technical Info (My setup)
I use aol as an ISP, (without the aol software, runs much better), Wireless ADSL Firewall Netgear Router DG834G, my computer has zone alarm on it, with Windows XP (SP2), everything is updated.
Problem 1.
I have been able to access my Orange.net account for several years, no probs. All of a sudden, I CANT???? It has been like this for a week. I have tried my laptop and pc, No joy? I looked around at forums and tried the usual, change primary and secondary DNS (which i am now using because for some bizzare reason, i could not access the internet, one day last week, this fixed it). Anyway, thats fixed, but when I go to Orange.co.uk i put in my username and password, click sign in and a little pop up tries to appear on my screen, then the page cannot be displayed screen comes up in internet explorer, with this url - https://services.orange.co.uk/sam/loginintercept.
Its annoying, what can I do???
Could the problem be with aol??? blocking some port??
Is the problem my router??
Problem 2
To resolve the problem above, I go to the library to see if i can access Orange.co.uk, i can, WoW, i log on and manage to get into my acount after several attempts, telling me the server is down,, BUT i only have emails upto October 2007, Im missing 2 months, my Inbox email limit is only at 50% so my inbox is not full. Ive been to the library again today, and no change, still only emails upto Oct 2007??
Please could somebody help me,, i need access to my mail.

Have you checked your junk folder and removed any from there? Also how many emails do you have in your account? I believe I remember seeing something mentioning a limit of 1000 before but I could be wrong on that now.

Thanks for replying. Yes i have checked my spam folder and deleted all.
I manged to sort out the problem 2 above. (that was getting access to my emails, i tried to log on at the library again and i managed to log in and they have mysteriously re-appeared, brill!!! probably a glitch on Orange's server?!).
But problem 1 still remains, i cant log on to Orange's email site at home??? I get to Orange.co.uk, but after entering my pssword n click ok, a small box like a pop up appears and then dissappears. Ive taken off popup blocker, removed symantec anti virus, removed zone alarm, done a fresh install of XP, and restored my Netgear router??? Still no joy?? Anybody any ideas please????
I rang aol, as usual no problems on their side, they say they are not blocking any ports or anything, and they asked me to ring Orange to see if they are blocking aol.
The question thats bugging is that why did I have access before at home and not now??
If you use aol as an ISP and cannot get Orange.net emails, go here
www.opendns.com it has taken me weeks of frustration, not being able to access from home. but went to this site, and in 2 minutes it was done. try it!!!!!
