Up to 8MB for Orange means if you get 1 mb when BT used to give you 7.5 then tough luck.
Orangeare the WORST, most DIABOLICAL, most BADLY MANAGED Broadband service staffed by idiots and bad systems in the UK and especially India where they don't speak real English and who are trained to lie and fob you off.
YOU have to ring around only to get lied to and fobbed off again and again and again and again ...and all the time YOU will be paying national rates for the priviledge. You WILL be bounced around the Orange global gall mis-handling system.
No one will care or bother to sort out the issue.
If an engineer does ring you you will have to ring back Mumbai and log another call for the engineers who will ring you back, leave another fast non discript message for you to tring back MUmbai.
After 4 line tests they realised that the line tests were no good .... so did another one. Result ... nothing .. still slow. IT IS AN EXCHANGE ISSUE YOU IDIOTS so GO TO THE EXCHANGE AND SORT IT OUT.
The UK call centres are amazingly disjointed and staffed by new trainees, liars and jobs worths with NO MANAGERS who can actualy get you out of the loop or who care about doing anything to resolve the problem. IT WILL ALWAYS BE YOUR FAULT.
They DO NOT CARE about poor service ... for them it is the norm. Treat a customer like dirt while charging him for a poor service and make money whilhe rings to sort it out.
I've got my MAC Code after 1 month with no penalty and boy did I have to fight for that. Back to BT. I WISH I HAD NEVER LEFT.
