I noticed that recently my livebox firmware updated itself - everything is now Orange!
I don't seem to be having much success with port forwarding now though. I've set up port 56917 to forward both with TCP and UCP and are forwarding to the address given in the 'your IP address' in the 'internet connection status' part of the Livebox config (which is a proxy address) but that port is still closed when I check it with a port scan.
I had previously successfully set up my wanadoo livebox using the following the port forwarding guide?
I set up a static ip address to be 192.168.1.11? Can anyone help?
There appears to be a new screen when i enter Enter.. Advanced -> Config -> Network
Advanced network parameters configuration
You do not need to change any of these settings unless asked to do so by Orange Broadband Customer Support.
Enable DHCP server (Ticked)
LAN IP address 192.168.1.1
Broadcast LAN IP addresss 192.168.1.255
Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
DHCP start address 192.168.1.9
DHCP server end address 192.168.1.200
I've set-up static ip with following info:
IP Address: (Static): 192.168.1.11
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default gateway: 192.168.1. 1
Name servers (DNS): 195.92.195.94
195.92.195.95
