Hi guys,

3 days ago, my internet connection dissappeared. 2 hours later it returned, however, most webpages would not load, including myspace and google.

I new there was an internet connection, as I was, and still am, using MSN.

I have followed the post from Keith, for tweaking the MTU (MTU 1500, RWIN 50472, as recommended by Tweak Tester)

On my PC, running XP, connected via ethernet to an Apple Airport Base station, then to a Draytek Vigor 2600, will now reach more into a webpage, for example, will load everything but pictures on Myspace.com.

My MacBook - connected wirelessly (for which is used tis thread http://www.orangeproblems.co.u...php?t=3054)

Still won't load anything apart from these forums and the odd website.

Can anyone please help. I urgently need a fully working internet connection.

I had the same problem, your MTU should be set to 1492. I had problems when set to 1500 (Which was the default for my router).

Rather than just lower the figure, it's best to use >>>>>

first then follow its recommendations for MTU and RWIN settings for XP.

Vista has its own separate process.
