For months i was able to email hotmail addresses, and i had nearly.... nearly.. stopped checking with people that they'd actually arrived.
Well since Oct 4th 2007, not one of my emails has been arriving at hotmail addresses, last winter it drove me near insane and everyone else to who had to put up with me asking if they got my emails.
When oh when will they sort this mess out. ?
Totally p***ed off with it.

Happening with me too. It was OK in September and now I have to switch to Waitrose dial up to get my e-mails through to Hotmail. There is no indication they are not being received as they do not even go into the Spam box on Hotmail. I have a suspicion Hotmail is not the only one that does not receive my e-mails. It is just hopeless as I cannot rely on my e-mails reaching people. I assume there is no fix.
Same here - emails not getting through to hotmail accounts - not being bounced back and not arriving in their spam folders.
I've eventually had a reply from Orange live help (I was told by technical support on the phone - who said they can't deal with email issues - that it would be 48 hours but it was sometime last week I asked for live help!):
Quote:
Thank you for your email.
We regret for the inconvenience.
We are aware that some of our customers are unable to send and receive
emails to hotmail customers. We are working on the issue to resolve it at
the earliest.
Its getting worse now !!!!!!!!
Today i sent Three important emails to clients (all on different ISP's) not one got their email from me. I find Oranges lack of interest unreal really.
If i complain i get a message saying " we understand, blah blah... redo your account" like thats going to help. Purleeasse.

So as you sent from 3 different ISPs doesn't that mean its a hotmail issue and not an Orange issue?

I sent mail toThree different ISP's not from.
They all left my Outlook Express outbox but to where they went..... who knows eh.
Orange phoned me today regarding this... you wont belive what they told me...........
"Hello.
Could you email Hotmail Support and tell them you cant email hotmail contacts from your Orange email account." Ummmm HOLD ON !!! like its my job to do that !!!!!
But they wouldnt listen, its my fault apparently , so sorry to all of you who cant email hotmail contacts, its all to do with me and i'll have to sort it out for you and dear old Orange lmao.
Have you had any "bounced" messages to say the emails were not delivered ?
Today, I've sent 3 test emails to deliberately incorrect addresses and not one has been returned yet as undelivered.

I only have trouble emailing hotmail contacts, but as Orange state, its my job to sort it out,
Hi nhyder,
i always verify by contacting recipients by phone, i know from the past 2 years experince with this issuet hat hotmail is the one which doesnt get its mail, i used to have trouble mailing videotron in Canada but thats ok now.
I know its an Orange server problem but they say its my job anyway to sort it out, bless em. they are blocked by ISPs who use spamcop.
But if you had received an "undeliverable email" message then there would be no need to phone.
This is the point, it does seem that Orange is not notifying any undeliverable emails.....whether it's to Hotmail or Orange or whatever ISP or for whatever reason.
