Hi

My wanadoo livebox is protected by a "WEP" key - simple enough

whenever I try to connect an external USB wireless adapter to the system It doesn't accept the code I type in it

I type in the code like: (l = lower case n = number)

lllnlnnnlnlnlnnllnnnln

is this right?

would it also help to connect this using the wanadoo cd i recieved with my livebox? I currently do not have a working CD is there any way I can download this software from Orange?

Shouldn't the WEP be 26 characters and CAPITAL ALPHAS ?

No spaces or dashes.

But as I inferred, you seem to have only 22 characters.

Yes it is case sensitive.

By default the livebox is set to WPA and WEP. This can cause problems. Change to WEP only.
