When i check on BT'S page it says my line will support 2MGB download,but Orange say it is only 1MGB,I am fed up with 1MGB its to slow,which one's right.Thank You.Cumbrian

If the exchange is on LLU then Orange are probably correct.
Well if BT say 2 meg at most that would be an ADSL Max connection. Those estimates can be a bit off when you're estimating Max on the lower end of speeds. LLU doesn't do 1.5 meg AFAIK so an ADSL Max connection running just below 2 meg would end up being 1 meg on LLU.
Either way your line stats would help clear this up.
