Could anyone out there on the Orange network please try and ping pop.ntlworld.com for me? I can't get it (though DNS is giving me the correct IP address)?
For years, I've been on Orange and could quite happily fetch (but not send) email from other isp accounts I have (of which ntl is one). As of this morning, Outlook has refused, not surprisingly because it can't connect to the server.
Orange (so called) tech support are stupid. They couldn't even tell mthe difference between a web server and a mail server and when I asked them to simply ping the pop.ntlworld.com, they said they weren't authorised to do so - please!
Any advice on a) how to fix this and b) how to complain about Orange gratefully received.
