After years of putting up with this half arsed, lazy attempt at webmail and receiving piles of spam every day as well as having my account hijacked in order to sell v**g*a and penis extensions etc (i.e. my name@freeserve.co.uk being attached to this rubbish) I want to delete my account straight away (not wait 90 days as advised which doesn't work as I didn't use it for 6 mths once). Of course, the advice online, namely to go to my settings and click on "delete account" doesn't exist so does anyone know how to do this, or a good person to contact either by email, letter or phone so I can stop being called the "v**g*a baron", "penis king" etc?
Of course when I phoned up general customer admin they said I needed to speak to tech support, who said they couldn't do it (bloody women could barely speak english of course, and just kept asking whether I was using vista - webmail, WEBMAIL..) and then put me on hold 3 times before saying again it couldn't be done as I wasn't a customer...
anyway, I'm starting to rant now.
I don't think there is any way you can manually "wipe" it off Orange's system......mainly because it's not actually your property re. its ownership, it's owned by Orange.
Just stop using it and leave all mail on their server.....this means you'll have to use another address so think about getting your own domain then you would own any addresses.
