Have had webspace on Freeserve for a number of years. Updated to upload.webspace.freeserve.net originally via Terrapin using a dialup line. Now on broadband with Orange Livebox. Last few days trying unsuccessfully to update the web pages using Terrapin and FTP via dos command screen. Never actually thought I was ever able to send any files but suddenly my web pages went blank.
So after tearing my hair out discovered that I needed to remove Windows firewall and Livebox firewall and using FTP got my website up and running again. But could someone explain why the pages went blank??
