Without going into great detail, I lost internet connection every evening for almost a month between December and January (at the only time I could really use it), and made a lot of calls to their ill advised (in my opinion) tech team in Asia; all they ended up was giving me a setting in my router that had no chance of reaching the net... oh, and a big telephone call debt of course.
I got nowhere in getting the situation resolved directly so I took the case to ISPA; eventually, after issuing a second complaint against them, Orange customer Services in Rotherham eventually called me and offered me a stopping of the January payment of £39.50, and also a refund of £30 in February, both for my inconvenience and as a refund for my wasted calls. Woopidoo, I thought, and agreed to withdraw my complaint if this was the case. A guy from the Orange ISPA side even called me and promised to make certain that these things would indeed happen.
Well, no surprise, the payment WAS still collected by Orange a few days ago (why was I not surprised), and I am worse than livid with them yet again. I have written emails and a letter to them, but no response as yet (except another Indian based email telling me to call customer services as they "don't have the tools".. they don't have ANYTHING worth speaking of on the Asian team, to be honest).
I haven't had ONE promise fulfilled by Orange since they first wrote to me in September 2007 telling me that dialup was closing and that I would be automatically transferred to broadband. I SO wish I hadn't transferred now, and can't wait to get released from this awful 'contract' with probably one of the worst ISP in the world, not just the UK.

Turn the tables on them, now that they owe you money, send a letter stating that you are putting the debt out for collection....get the bailiffs in !!!!
