Hi,
I currently have two Dell PC's working very well with the livebox, wireless. I am now trying to set up an old Dell laptop with windows 2000 just for web browsing and MSN.
I am using a USB wireless adapator which found the Livebox and went through the WAP settings OK and under network setting it showed they had connected.
However when I go to use the internet, I do not get a connection.

Any ideas where to look? I am a novice at all this.

Somewhere either in the status of that connection (network and dialup connections on the control panel I believe) or within the wireless software it should show your IP address, what is it?

Can you access 192.168.1.1?

Under the connections tab in internet options, in the LAN settings, do you have the proxy server ticked? (if you do untick it)
