Hi, have finally got out of my Orange contract, after hours of telephone coversations, bullying tactics, and sheer hell. I have been persistent but how many poor people haven't got the time or energy to keep on, I guess they are just stuck with crap connection or in my case mostly no connection.It is really wrong something should be done. If a provider can't provide, they should have a time limit to sort it out and if they can't they should then have the decency to cancel the contract. Also they should provide you with the same case case manager not 20 other people who go through the same thing over and over. It still makes my blood boil writing this!!!!!!!
Considering I, and i assume alot of other Orange Broadband users are also Orange Mobile customers, how hard would it be to send us all a quick text letting us know they are experiencing problems. That would be alot better than waking up every other day and finding no connection.
I have finally had enough and demanded my MAC Address, and i'm off to Sky.
Orange customer service is aweful, and they denied being aware of having any problems until i demanded my MAC address, suddenly the truth came out and they begged me to stay, but no way, as you said, they are incapable of providing the service i'm paying for, so why should i stay!?!
I have just moved to BT after 1 year of crap service and connection and being capped at 500 kbps, Yes capped and they confirmed it too. So i asked for me account notes and guess what they charged me £10 for them and i dont have them? They are the stupid all of them from the front line people and the so called managers that never ever call you back or do anything to help they should be closed down by ofcom. We should all put a letter wanting this to happen but as you say most people dont have the time to do this which is a pity because they will continue to get ripped off by Orange. nuff said!
