I've had the same problem now for 2 1/2 days. rang broadband help last night at 50p per min and they eventually told me after 10 mins it was their problem and they knew about it and are sorting it. £5 to tell me it was their problem???? Part of me thinks they just said that because they dont know whats wrong. As or 18.45 today I still have no broadband. I notice that their are lots of freephone numbers to buy stuff from them but none to sort a problem, thats if you can find the number. am I alone or are others still suffering.
Problem was related to the Primary and secondary DNS.
I had typed them into router as advised on Orange web pages, and this had worked for ages.
But just reset the router option to auot find DNS and its working fine.
Has picked up different Primary and secondary DNS to the ones I was using before which were 195.192.195.95 and 94.
So all sorted guess something changed on the above IP's.
If I knew where you lived I would buy you a pint. If it hadn't been for you I would have spent a fortune and hours on the phone I'm sure sorting this out.

Doug - I've had the same problem since mid-day Wednesday 16th Jan.
I've just tried the "auto DNS" approach, but no joy.
Although I'm now picking up 193.36.79.101 and 193.36.79.100 as the DNS's, problem persists (no internet access "can't find page").
Can anyone give me another set of DNS IP addresses ?

Try OpenDNS
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220
Tried these - no good.
Spoke to expensive (50p / min) support last night - they told me to call the cheaper support line. Called them - they eventually admitted there's a known problem (but couldn't elaborate) - no timescales for resolution !!

There is no end to Oranges talents.
If and when they do fix it it would be more reliable using OpenDNS servers anyway
Update - as of lunchtime today, my broadband suddenly sprang back into life !
I guess I'll never know what the problem was. What's frustrating for a fairly literate user like myself is the fact that Orange are totally incapable of telling their users what the problems are / how they're being resolved / timescales etc. etc.
