Gone through everything to set up a wireless connection, i have reached the point of pairing the livebox to my laptop but when pressing the "1" button, the @ light doesnt flash at all.Only one of the two lights that need to flash is flashing.
I now have the livebox paired with my laptop, so now onto the next problem.
My wireless adpater says it is connected to the access point with signal strength 100% and link quality above 90% , but if i try to bring up a web page it says ''cannot find server'' ''page cannot be displayed''.
The guide assumes you're setting up the box from scratch and that you haven't already setup the broadband connection. In that case you want the @ light to be solid and stay that way, otherwise you follow the guide as normal.
First go through the control panel and into network connections,
Right click the wireless connection and go into the status,
Check the support tab,
Make sure the address type is "assigned by DHCP" and the IP Address starts "192.168.1.",
If it's something different let us know.
After that can you access 192.168.1.1 through your browser or does that give the same problem?

Thanks for taking up the challenge Elhana.
My wired connection says ''assigned by DHCP'' and IP address does start 192.168, but when trying to check the status of my wireless connection it doesnt stay on the screen long enough as it is flicking between connected and not connected , but i just managed to see that the address type says ''manually configured''

Aha!
The manual address shouldn't normally cause the connection to appear and disappear like that so that's likely down to something else. Could be the wrong key, interference, dodgy drivers, etc.
To fix the address problem though...
Follow through the previous steps but instead of status click properties,
In the list box select "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" and click the properties button,
There are 2 settings each with two options,
Select both automatic options and Ok everything.

See what happens then.
I tried that myself a few days back, i tried entering all of the settings manually and then automatic, but still no joy
The problem with doing that is normally if automatic doesn't work neither will manual.
In that case it's more likely to do with the wireless signal. Using a wired connection you could try changing the channel to see if you can get a better signal on a different frequency.
