I've had a Livebox, for about 4 months now but not really used it as my download speed on bittorrent was really slow. As soon as I plugged my old speedtouch modem back in, WAM!, full speed again.
So that's how it stayed until my speedtouch stopped working.
Enter the Livebox. I've managed to set it up with Vista, get my PSP working with it, and even my Nabaztag/tag bunny. But my bittorrents are still painfully slow.
I've managed to get a green light on the download screen, and I've forwarded my ports. Shields Up! has confirmed that they are open too.
The other day I tried another client, Utorrent. To my amazement it began downloading at full speed using a different port to my open ones and the only thing I did was enable encryption.
I thought I had cracked it. I was wrong. I switched the PC on yesterday to do a download, and it was just as bad as before.
What on earth is going on? What am I doing wrong with my settings?
