i have just changed from a speedtouch modem to the new live box and i cannot seem to access my old freeserve webspace
(using dreamweaver)... i don't know what settings to put into it now...the old FTP settings (ie FTP host and Host directory settings...) don't seem to work any more...
it seems that my PC connection (via ethernet cable) is now by LAN to the livebox as the settings for my email and Internet explorer only show this...so i guess this must change things for my settings on dreamweaver too but i have no idea what to do now? merely changing the connection setting on dreamweaver to LAN doesn't work...
i called Orange many times today and noone knows what to do...
i've tried emailing them too but have had no reply...
if anyone can help with this it will be much appreciated!

I had the same problem back in April and I posted the problem on another forum. The reply I got is shown below and it fixed the problem.

Could be the firewall on the Livebox. Try turning it off:
Log onto the Livebox via 192.168.1.1 in a browser, or the "Configure The Livebox" icon on your desktop.
Log on using username and password "admin" and "admin" unless you've changed these yourself previously.
Navigate through the menu on the left:
Security -> Firewall
Set to "Low" and then click "Submit".
Try FTP-ing again.
