Well, after 28 days of PPP Server Down hell I’m only 2 long days away from being able to cancel my contract without penalty and honestly I can’t wait.
In an open message to you Orange it’s fair to say you have on the whole been completely hopeless. It all started with your people recording the wrong password against my account so I wasn’t able to connect, then it progressed to your sh***y Live box being completely unable to synchronise with both a Windows laptop and MAC at the same time, of course when I did get a connection it was slow when it was supposed to be 5MB then unreliable then slow and unreliable, eventually it gave up all together and I couldn’t connect for a whole month.
All this wouldn’t have been so bad if your technical support people would have been any good, sadly they were rubbish too as they asked me to wait 5 days here 24 hours there and they reassured me time after time after time after time after time after time that they had escalated my problem the higher level of technical support team which said all the time they were going to call me with an update but never did.
It wasn’t just them of course, customer services (if that’s what you call them) were even worse because basically they seem to be able to do nothing other than apologise and ask me to wait.
Orange broadband, you are a joke because you seem completely incapable of doing what all of the rest of the world can without all that much fuss… Now, what to do with my mobile account when it comes up for renewal I wonder?
