When I registered for braodband I thought everything was ok. I phoned them up on the day of activation. They asked for my number etc and they said they had no recollection of my order. So they did a postcode check and low and behold they have entered someone elses number in the village as mine.
So now I have to wait another 10 - 15 days for them to correct it. I told them that they were paying for my dial up bills and they agreed. Good enough ! my broadband would be activated the next day (today) as they will contact BT and get the number changed
Phoned the support line again, still not on, was on the phone for about 30 minutes trying to reboot and everything and eventually she got somneone in tech support who came on and said. Its not activated yet wont be until the 17th. So i gave it loads and said it was supposed to have been sorted today. So he couldnt find my order so I gave him the wrong number they registered and he said no problem that number isnt live anyway.
So I said are you sure cause they will be getting disconnected by BT today if they are. No no it isnt on. Put the phone down and rang the number and its an old dear down the road.
