The broadband has been cut off by Orange/BT,
The modem is dead,
Something's wrong with your phone wiring,
There's a fault,
Your neighbour has excessively powerful christmas lights,
An engineer at the exchange sneezed....eww you get the idea.
Best thing to do first is rule out as much at your end as possible, find the master socket and try connecting from there, as you've done before, without anything else connected. After that Orange would run a line test to check it further.
