Like many on here im experiencing the same problems
i have a connection but am unable to get on the internet for 90% of the day as the internet keeps dropping.
my livebox that has worked faithfully since january last year, flashes red instead of being stable red when the internet is off.
i was told my line had been upgraded and that this was most likely the reason for the loss of internet bulls**t this was over 2 weeks ago and im still here. after being referred to BT they said 1571 was the problem which was removed and there is still no stable connection. after being further referred to Orange to BT and back then finally to BT who then told me to phone Orange who had to call them they had the nerve to tell me it was something i had put on the line hmm yea im sure since i havent bought a thing.
after finding this miracle of a site i see my problems run a little deeper, but reading every single topic to find the answer will probably break me after the anger already insued from BT and Orange
Hi Asselta - I had the same problem with a LIVEBOX I have now replaced my BT master socket in the front room with a new one and disconnected all other phone extentions from the front plate and plugged the LIVEBOX directly into the master socket and all connection problems fixed.
P.S Just a hint "Try removing the front plate from your master BT socket and plugging in the LIVEBOX into the back plate" direct connection to the incoming BT line !!
