Hi , ive only just registered on this site. Ive been having the same problem for about 5 months now. I have a 1.1mbps connection with Orange. i had no problems before Wanadoo was taken over by Orange. As i said , im on 1.1mbs connection , however , when i connect using my Speedtouch modem, it says im running at 3.8mbps or 3.6mbps. I also get disconnected every hour or so. Ive tried everything from different modems to different phone sockets around the house. ive not changed any settings or anything.
Not sure what you mean when you say you're on a 1.1meg connection.....is there one ?
It looks like you're on LLU so it depends on how far you are away from your local exchange but from the speed test data you're getting a reasonable download but your upload could be better.....also depends on what maximum speeds your local exchange can deliver.
