Using Broadband all of yesterday with no problem. Didn't use it from about 7pm. Went to check e-mails before going to bed at about 10.30 and couldn't connect. Tried rebooting several times, but no good. Two green lights on modem, but error message 721 (if I remember rightly - something along the lines of can't connect to remote computer).
Tired again first thing this morning before leaving for work and still the same problem. Can anyone offer any suggestions on what's happened and how to fix it? I've not had a chance to phone Orange yet.
721 is the equivilent of PPP server down, although it's usually just be an outage if you get that on an IPStream connection. Usually if you get that there's no connection at all rather than just for a single application.
The only exception would be if you're already connection and another program trys to connect and the system goes a bit and mad and just comes out with that error, pretty rare if it did though as that sort of problem usually gives other codes.
