....but looking through other posts on a similar topic, my internet connection has been down for Three weeks, (I am on a works pc right now), like others around me, I keep getting the same verbal garbage each time "the line is producing an error" and the ever annoying "please call back in five days". Thanks to Orange, I have had my internet xmas shopping ruined. This same thing happened last year for 6 weeks. Fortunately I'm on a dolphin contract and on the phone side of it, they couldn't be better. Helpline is in the UK and not in Bombay, and have had no problems so far, internet is utterly abysmal and turning my lovely brown hair a dull shade of grey. The new ISP is very appealing right now!
I lost my connection with Orange for 3 weeks last year in July.
After the endless excuses, similar to yourself, like 'line fault 'ring back in 3 days and it will be fixed' etc etc I got fed up and left.
I joined Idnet and have never had 1 disconnection in over a year.
The line is now fast, stable and I have ENGLISH SPEAKING customer service who are knowledgable, friendly and care.
The only way to get your connection back and stable is to leave Orange I'm afraid.
