My livebox seems to have given up.. If i'm connected for 2 minutes at a time i'd be very lucky, so i revert back to my trusty old £9.99 ADSL Modem, and wey hey, bobs your uncle, i'm connected (with the obvious, no wireless, no internet phone calls)
So last week, i treat myself to a new PC, with Vista Home Premium
I can't get anything to work with that (it doesn't let me install the old ADSL Modem ) So i can't get connected with that.
My question, can anyone recommend a Modem/Router that i can buy (I'm sick of my livebox, and can live without the internet phone calls), which will work with Orange & Vista?

At the moment i am using a Netgear DG834GT which is easy to configure as u like it, connection is rock solid (am not with Orange) and have never had any problems with it, it doesn't have voip capabilities though.
When i was with Orange i always used a Netgear DG834Gv2 also rock solid (orange connection permitting).

I've used a Belkin F5D7633 with Orange since November 2004 (on a Centrino laptop)....only had occasional glitches and even those may not be a router problem.
