I was with Orange broadband up and till a couple of months back, when i received a letter stating that my account was suspended as of the 28th september 2007, and will be closed on the 5 October 2007. The reasons for this were that i did not adhere to a warning letter they claimed to have sent me, which stated that i had over used my UNLIMITED broadband package. For the record i received no such letter. I migrated away from Orange soon after the 28th September 2007. Today i received a letter from Oange stating that they were closing my broadband account because i have not paid my bill and that i had to pay the outstanding balance on my account.
Surely these guy are ripping me of. What am i to do.
For the record i was last billed on the 14th Spetember 2007, and you are billed a month in advance. So this will cover me up to the date they closed my account. But why have they had me as an active broadband customer 2 months after they closed my account.
